The sails are measured. The oil is changed. The gunk in the bottom of the Racor filter has been removed. What are you waiting for? GET OUT THE BOAT!! This  Wednesday, May 7th you cannot use another excuse to let your main and jib fly free and cruise the flooded fault line we know and love as Gastineau Channel. This is it, last warm-up before the first race of the season on Saturday, May 10th. Let's go SEAS sailors and let it fly!

SEAS Handicapper, Brian Lieb, reviewed all boat ratings at the @360 studio at KTOO. Many of the boats of the SEAS fleet have registered with the Pacific Handicap Racing Fleet of the Pacific Northwest as well ( Everyone will be rated and ready to go for the first race of the season on May 10th. Check the race schedule and register for the SEAS cup if you haven't already done so. Also, if you are interested in crewing on a boat, come out to the SEAS BBQ on May 9th at Sandy Beach, or keep an eye on the website and join us on Facebook.

SouthEast Alaska Sailing (SEAS) is celebrating the end of the 2014 Season at the Silverbow Bakery & Wine Bar, Saturday September 13th from 6:00-9:00pm.

Join us in the back room to swap stories of the summer’s adventures and revel in another successful season of sailing races. Final standings for the SEAS Cup and Admiralty Island Rally  will be announced, along with upcoming SEAS events to look forward to during the sailing off-season. We will have a slide show running with photos from this summer’s events, and information on how you can stay involved with the club.
