Winter Party at Rockwell's this Friday. Come and welcome the newly elected 2016 SEAS board and meet other sailors.
Choose this event type when it is a party.
The days are getting shorter, fall is in the air, and there's termination dust on the mountains. Time for a party! SouthEast Alaska Sailing (SEAS) is celebrating the End of Summer 2015 at Rockwell's back room, Saturday September 26th from 6:00-10:00pm.
We'll reminisce about the past sailing season and plan winter activities. There will be a running slide show of the summer spent sailing and final standings of the SEAS Cup and Spirit of Admiralty races, along with announcements of upcoming SEAS winter events and information on how you can stay involved with the club.
Summer is wrapping up here in Juneau, and the Juneau Youth Sailing club is looking for some volunteers to help store their boats and docks for the winter. Helpers will meet at the Youth Sailing club container at 13:00 on Saturday, August 29. This is a great opportunity to help out the local sailing community. For contact information, see their website: http://www.juneauyouthsailing.org/
Juneau Youth Sailing (http://www.juneauyouthsailing.org/) is launching its boats and float-dock on Saturday, April 18th at 1:00! We can't do it without your help, so come on down to our Container by the Yacht Club if you can! [I checked the weather forecast, and they say it'll be blue skies and 74 degrees, so go ahead and mark your calendars].
Thanks so very much!

SEAS will be having its opening season BBQ at Sandy Beach on May 8th starting at 4:30 pm. Come by to meet your old friends, reconnect with your crew, and welcome new people to the club. This will be a great start to the weekend as our first race commences the next morning!
Also a part of the Spring SEAS party, used sailing/boating equipment swap meet. Bring your old tackle - sell it or trade it for something else, before and during the SEAS party.
