Lewmar ST 30 winches for sale

UPDATE:

I’m selling my self-tailing primary winches to the highest bidder. They’re Lewmar size 30’s. Original price for me was $500/each, purchased through Craigslist Bellingham back in ’09. Which was a REALLY good deal.

Nothing wrong with the operation/condition of the winches, I just really need larger size 40's for running genoa/jib sheets at higher wind speeds. Feel free to text or email if interested.

Yamaha 25 for sale

I am going to put this boat on other sites including Craigs list but I wanted to make sure that SEAS members saw that it was for sale because of the racing sail inventory

This boat has a truly awesome sail inventory. I just priced them new on line from FX sails and it would take $10,000 to replace them and that is if they were made by FX, they are mostly North Sails. They are all in excellant condition and some I suspect have never been hoisted. There are three mains a cruising main a racing main and a drifter. Three Jibs #1, 2 and 4 plus a spinnaker.

Fireworks raft-up in the Channel

Optiminium will be heading out in the Channel on July 3rd to watch Independence Day fireworks under anchor. We already have 6 crew aboard, and would like to raft-up with other SEAS boats as in past years.

Please reply if interested and we can coordinate a time to meet up. I believe we want to be just south of the Lawson Creek navigational mark/piling.

Sail Measuring

Brian Lieb has taken up the mantle left by Mike Rentel as the Club Handicapper, and all boats will need to get him a current ratings form for racing this year. Or at least verify measurements already on file.

Jim Mahan has offered to let us use the KTOO studio 360 for measuring sails. We will bring rating forms, cloth tapes, & probably beer. Please let me know what day/time would work well for you in April.

Possible Discovery Southeast Opportunity

Hi, I recently spoke with Shawn Eisele, the Executive Director of Discovery Southeast, about any chances to do coordinated events.

Anyway, he mentioned that they do summer camps in June, July, and August on Monday-Fridays between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.  So it seems like an event scheduled during their regular hours may not work.

However, he did say they could potentially 'offer' a Saturday event for their attendees that would allow their families to participate in something.
