Leg 1 – 24.5 Nautical Miles – Starting/Finish line – the imaginary line formed by the airport range finders on Battleship Island in Auke Bay, Take Coghlan Island to starboard, proceed north up Favorite Channel rounding Aaron Island in either direction. On return leg, all boats must round Portland Island keeping it to port and then proceeding to cross the finish line.
Leg 2 – A series of buoy races in Auke Bay, determined by a committee boat.
