SEAS and the Juneau Yacht Club* are collaborating for this first Sailors Talk!
The event will held Thursday, February 1 at the Juneau Yacht Club, Graham Room, 6pm-8pm.
To promote the appreciation of sailing and foster a community and culture committed to advancing both sailing and sailing education in the Juneau area.

From the USCG:
Coast Guard Sector Juneau Waterways Division has started a WAMS, waterway analysis and Management System survey for Gastineau Channel through Mendenhall Bar to Fritz Cove. A WAMS assessment looks at all Aids to Navigation, publications, and facilities to ensure the CG has the best/safest navigation set up for the area. There hasn't been a thorough analysis since 2003 so there is a lot that we will be taking in. We would appreciate the input from any members of SEAS on this survey, as we are looking for additional information from waterway users that operate North of the bridge. It would be greatly appreciated if you could forward the survey to any interested members. The survey is open though March and can be found at
