Associate members in good standing for one year may renew at Voting member status by payment of the appropriate fee. Initial members receive an official SEAS burgee.
The SouthEast Alaska Sailing Club (SEAS) was organized to promote the appreciation of sailing and foster a community and culture committed to advancing both sailing and sailing education in the Juneau area. SEAS is recognized by Pacific International Yachting Association (PIYA) and is a member of US Sailing. Accepting membership acknowledges an agreement to abide by the Club Constitution and Bylaws.
Annual membership is based on a calendar year (January 1st to December 31st). A one-time initiation fee is included in the new members fee. All applicants must be 21 or older. Current members renewing after January 31 of the new membership year must pay the additional initiation fee.
Legal Fine Print: Each SEAS member assumes all responsibility for his or her own actions and agrees to waive all claims which he or she or any heir, representative, successor, or assignee may have against SEAS and its respective officers, board members, committees, or agents arising out of or in any way connected with participation in SEAS events.
