When:
Wednesday, May 2, 2018 - 06:30 to 08:30

Greetings Sailors!

It's time to be on the water and the next Sailor Talk will provide great info and discussion to prepare us all for the fun. It will be held Wednesday, May 2, 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Northwind Architects 126 Seward St.

Wednesday Night Buoy Racing and Racing Rules: The SEAS Cup has a series of races open to any level of racing experience and, this year, the race committee will be organizing Wednesday Night Buoy Racing to provide more opportunities to get out and race.  Brian Lieb will talk about common issues in the SEAS racing format to include race starts, issues that arise when boats meet, what to do at obstructions, and finally some hazards unique to our race courses.

Rules of the Road: Wade Rogers will give us some information on general navigational rules focused on the rights of way between powerboats and sailboats, and some of the possible legal ramifications if those navigational rules aren't followed and how the Coast Guard conduct investigations into an incident.

See you there!
