The SEAS Board would like to extend an opportunity for all members to participate in a recreational boating, cold water safety and survival course facilitated by the Alaska Marine Safety Education Association (AMSEA) on April 21-22. The weekend course will be held at the UAS Tech Center at 1415 Harbor Way in Juneau.  SEAS highly recommends the
class for sailors participating in the Admiralty Island Rally, the Spirit of Admiralty, and other races.

Course completion and issuance of the USCG approved Drill Instructor card will include attending all class hours as well as completing 16 out of the following 18 skills.
