Beach Dogs and Sailors

Sailors of all ages gathered on a beach on Admiralty Island this past weekend during the annual SEAS Admiralty Cove Beach Party.  

All enjoyed good food, a moderate blaze and the company of old and new friends.One notable absents were the  bugs, they must have missed the invitation.

And all shared a common love for being on the water under sail.

Boats from Auke Bay and Juneau met up on Saturday night in Young Bay, a just a few hours from harbor.

Young Bay is a secure harbor with easy access to the beach and vistas which cause one to pause.A wonderful great place to drop the hook and watch the sun set after a great day of sailing.
