There are several products available to track each sailboat's course during a race. Would be interesting to use some of this technology. Found this app online, and can work with a SPOT receiver to transmit progress offshore (for the Admiralty Races): http://www.kattack.com/SPOTTracking/AboutSPOTandKattack/tabid/259/Defaul... Of course we probably don't get great reception in Southeast for SPOT, but even using the app on a smart phone for day races would be fun.

Model boats for protest hearings

I know this came up earlier, but would be good to purchase a kit of model boats we could use for protest hearings and, more importantly, Sailor Talks on racing rules & tactics.
