Race Comm,

Attached is the specific sailing instruction for AIR 2012, what I’ve called “OPTION #1 _ CW AB FC”. The abbreviations are as follows:

·         CW: Clockwise
AB: Auke Bay (Start)
FC: Full Circumnavigation

I didn’t have time to edit the course descriptions, but filled out the rest of the Race Schedule for your review. It’s essentially the reverse of the first AIR in ’10, with an added leg between Whitestone Harbor & Baranof W.S.  

Feel free to share what other options you have in mind for the race. Just wanted to get the ball rolling on this since there was unanimous sentiment to market the race for more participation by other club racers and/or summer cruisers. And we need to finalize the course before we can publicize. ~Joel
